Strand Patt 45 Theatre Lamps
These historical theatre lamps were commissioned by a theatre for their foyer. They wanted something for the foyer to light up a “forthcoming productions” wall. They had to be LED yet have a theatrical retro feel. So Pat 45s were chosen, retro fitted with 52mm GU10 lamps and powder coated in satin black. Objective achieved.

Requiring something that would fit in with the old watermill building entrance hall, they were able to dig out some old Patt 45s from storage. These were stripped down, shot blasted and powder coated. The customer also required the new lamp source to be LED based to comply with their power use ethos, to this end a new lamp holder was fabricated to take a 7watt LED GU10 Lamp. I was even able to maintain the function of the focus control, which was a major bonus.
